INFORMATION
General Info
Schuylkill Township Real Estate Rate = 3.6205 mills
The township real estate tax bills are mailed on or before March 1 of each tax year. The following payment schedule for the tax bill for the respective tax year applies:
- If paid on or before 4/30: 2% discount
- If paid on or before 6/30: face amount
- If paid after 6/30: 10% penalty
All Schuylkill Township real estate tax payments should be made payable to "Schuylkill Township."
If you request a stamped/signed receipt of your paid tax bill, a self-addressed stamped envelope must be provided with the tax payment.
The Schuylkill Township Tax Collector is responsible for the township real estate tax. Any questions or issues related to earned income taxes, per capita taxes, school district taxes, or occupational taxes should be directed to the township. Fee Schedule
Tax Certificate = $20
Please provide a 5 business day minimum notice prior to settlement/closing for a tax certificate. A tax cert request made fewer than five business days in advance is not guaranteed to be completed and returned prior to closing/settlement.
Duplicate Bill = $5
Other Tax Documents = $25
All payments for tax certificates, duplicate bills, and other miscellaneous tax documents should be made payable to Aaron Kern, Tax Collector
When sending payment, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to receive the requested item. Most items can be emailed if requested.
